ADULTS – a raunchy weekly fest of man and milk?? A sexy introduction to some great bands, ADULTS launched at The Macbeth in Hoxton on the 28th of October with live acts Is Tropical, My Tiger My Timing, One Man Destruction Show and DJs Shitdisco and Bunny.
Wednesday night is the night!! The night is hosted by Is Tropical, The Saudis and Fiction who work in rotation to bring you 3 of the best new bands and 2 Dj’s each Wednesday for all your ADULT satisfaction. Most importantly like all good things it is FREE, a rarity for live music events in London.
Last nights ADULTS (18th) was beautifully chaotic as to be expected from the bands on the bill. Ranging from the cleverly constructed energetic public school folk of Th’Parish, the insanely bizarre crooning and dancing of the Dagger Brothers, the childlike enthusiasm and infectious jigs of The Good News, to the catchy pop/folk/rock n roll chaos of The ‘rip your top of and dance like an intoxicated nutball’ Saudis, the night was amazingly diverse in every sense.
